Easter Feast Spiral Ham

Ingredients:

  • Smoked Spiral Ham 5-7 LBS

Apricot Glaze:

  • Traeger Apricot Sauc
  • 1 Jar Apricot Preserves
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 TBSP Butter

Apricot Glaze:

Combine ingredients in small oven-friendly saucepan.  Heat and stir until you reach a smooth consistency.  Place saucepan on grill to smoke while Ham is on at 225°.

Ham:

Remove pre-smoked spiral ham from packaging, pat dry, and let rest for 30 minutes.

Open your lid and start your Traeger on smoke for 5 minutes until fire is lit.  Set and preheat Traeger to 225°.  Place ham on on Traeger – flat side down.  Cook until ham reaches internal temperature  of 125° – 130° (using meat thermometer).  Increase heat setting to 350°, meanwhile applying glaze on the ham. Set sauce to desired texture, targeting an internal temperature of 140°.  Let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
